Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum 8 years experience in high-end catering or luxury culinary management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale events
  • Proven financial management skills including P&L responsibility
  • Strong leadership and team development capability
  • Excellent communication and client collaboration skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to travel to various event locations as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience
  • Significant luxury catering or multi-venue event management experience
  • Proven success with large-scale off-premise events
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L management
  • Expertise in menu costing and procurement strategy
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Refined palate and knowledge of global cuisines and culinary trends
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Design and execute customized menus for luxury events
  • Collaborate with clients and event planners to create personalized culinary experiences
  • Lead tastings and menu presentations
  • Incorporate seasonal and locally sourced ingredients into menus
  • Evolve culinary concepts to maintain market competitiveness
  • Oversee culinary operations for off-premise events of various sizes
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and timing in diverse venues
  • Develop scalable systems for non-traditional kitchen settings
  • Partner with operations teams for seamless event logistics
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead culinary staff
  • Establish training programs for technique and service standards
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility
  • Develop pricing and food cost strategies
  • Manage procurement and vendor relationships
  • Control food and labor costs while maintaining quality
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain certifications and documentation
