The role of Executive Chef at Elior’s Cura-Hospitality in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, offers a full-time, onsite opportunity for culinary professionals who are passionate about healthcare food service. The Executive Chef will be a pivotal part of the healthcare team, responsible for overseeing the entire food production process in a healthcare setting. This includes supervising quality standards, managing purchasing and food specifications, meal preparation, and sanitation practices, ensuring that every dish served is not only appetizing but also health-conscious and aligned with dietary requirements essential for patient care.
In this capacity, the Executive Chef will also develop standardized recipes and utilize production tools to optimize food quality and meet cost objectives, emphasizing consistency, nutritional balance, and taste. Additionally, the role involves planning and executing special events within the healthcare facility, requiring creativity, leadership, and efficient coordination with staff and management. Elior's commitment to its employees is reflected in its supportive work environment that fosters work-life balance, offers no late-night shifts, weekly pay, free meals, and a competitive benefits package that includes tuition reimbursement, employee referral bonuses, and a 401K with company match.
Working at Cura-Hospitality means joining a forward-thinking team that values every member's contribution and promotes professional growth and skill development. The Executive Chef position is perfect for a culinary expert who desires to make a meaningful impact in healthcare hospitality by delivering excellence in food service that supports the wellness of guests and patients alike. This role demands not only culinary skill and experience but also proficiency in software programs such as Microsoft Office and familiarity with budget management, highlighting the administrative and operational aspects crucial for success in this senior-level role.
