Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent required
  • Five years of hospitality or related experience required
  • Ability to inspire develop and mentor employees
  • Demonstrated time management excellence
  • Computer skills including MS Office and scheduling software
  • Knowledge of store operations finances and ethical business practices
  • Flexibility to work minimum of 50 hours per week with possibility of additional hours or adjustments

Job Duties

  • Direct kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and cleanup
  • Assign tasks supervise chefs and cooks in food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain control of the kitchen to ensure efficient and effective task completion
  • Resolve issues promptly to ensure timely order delivery
  • Enforce food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Plan menus and set prices adjusting for ingredient availability
  • Inspect raw and cooked food to guarantee quality
  • Collaborate with general manager and owner on operation goals
  • Manage monthly inventory
  • Maintain vendor relationships
  • Recruit hire and train kitchen staff
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and schedule repairs
  • Perform all assigned duties
