Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as professional chef
  • Minimum 5 years kitchen leadership experience as Chef or Sous Chef
  • Strong culinary creativity and vision
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptability to dynamic work environments
  • Skilled in food cost and labor management
  • Experience in business and financial aspects of kitchen operations

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present dishes with precision and creativity
  • Design and develop inventive menus reflecting culinary trends and personal style
  • Build relationships with local farmers and suppliers to source fresh ingredients
  • Customize menus and presentations for special events
  • Oversee kitchen operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained
  • Inspire and engage kitchen staff to perform their best
  • Ensure compliance with kitchen policies and sanitation requirements
  • Prepare all food items daily
  • Maintain effective communication within department including Front of House
  • Manage labor and budget including food cost management
  • Align with the culture, values, and goals of the hotel and Crystal Creek Hospitality
