Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as professional chef
- Minimum 5 years kitchen leadership experience as Chef or Sous Chef
- Strong culinary creativity and vision
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptability to dynamic work environments
- Skilled in food cost and labor management
- Experience in business and financial aspects of kitchen operations
Job Duties
- Prepare and present dishes with precision and creativity
- Design and develop inventive menus reflecting culinary trends and personal style
- Build relationships with local farmers and suppliers to source fresh ingredients
- Customize menus and presentations for special events
- Oversee kitchen operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained
- Inspire and engage kitchen staff to perform their best
- Ensure compliance with kitchen policies and sanitation requirements
- Prepare all food items daily
- Maintain effective communication within department including Front of House
- Manage labor and budget including food cost management
- Align with the culture, values, and goals of the hotel and Crystal Creek Hospitality
