Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Five or more years culinary experience in the hospitality industry
- Food handlers permit as required by state law or Company standards
- Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive company-provided or personal vehicle as required
- Must meet Company motor vehicle policy standards
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to resolve conflicts with customers and employees

- Ability to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and employees
- Food handlers permit as required by state law and Company standards

- Valid driver’s license and compliance with motor vehicle policy standards
Job Duties
- Interview, hire, train, develop, and performance manage kitchen staff
- Schedule hours, breaks, and meal periods
- Maintain monthly and annual budgets for Culinary Services
- Produce written documentation of monthly spend on food, supplies, and labor
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies, small wares, and table ware
- Ensure purchasing standards and maintain vendor relationships
- Ensure food preparation, storage, and service comply with standards and legal requirements
- Meet regularly with residents and family members to maintain satisfaction
- Train staff on high levels of customer service
- Coordinate front of house and back of house staff collaboration
- Work with leadership to maintain customer satisfaction and health survey levels
- Maintain accurate documentation and submission of reports and invoices
- Maintain employee satisfaction and engagement scores
- Delegate tasks to maintain cleanliness and quality in kitchen and dining areas
- Conduct and participate in meetings, in-services, and pre-meal stand ups
- Ensure proper equipment use to avoid injury and damage
- Assist in planning and execution of events and banquets
- Collaborate with Community Sales team to market the community
- Enforce Company expectations and first impression standards
- Act as manager on duty as required
- Perform additional duties as needed or assigned
