Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years supervisory experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent role
- Over seven years managing high volume and fast paced commercial kitchens
- Current sanitation certification or ability to obtain within six months
- Safe food handling certification
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in a kitchen environment
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Proficiency in computer use related to purchasing and inventory management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary arts degree preferred
- Current or ability to obtain sanitation certification within six months of hire
- Safe food handling certification
- Minimum three years supervisory experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent role
- Over seven years managing high volume commercial kitchens
- Experience in fine dining and culinary leadership preferred
- Proficiency in time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of culinary market trends and food presentation
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain high level of quality and consistency in meal preparation and service
- Supervise kitchen staff and dining personnel in food production
- Assist in special food preparation requests and special occasions
- Manage menu planning, purchasing, ordering, and inventory
- Ensure sanitation and safe storage of food and kitchen equipment
- Train and mentor kitchen staff and chefs
- Implement and enforce compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide positive feedback and performance evaluations to culinary staff
- Manage budget by controlling labor, inventory, and equipment costs
- Establish quality standards and communicate improvements to staff
