Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • six years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • or two-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related field
  • four years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • proven leadership experience
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work full time and on-site
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage and mentor kitchen staff

Job Duties

  • Lead the kitchen management team
  • provide direction for all daily kitchen operations
  • supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen workers
  • ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
  • manage department expenses including food cost and supplies
  • engage with guests to obtain feedback and handle complaints
