Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related field
  • OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
  • Minimum 4 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations and staff effectively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with 4 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience managing kitchen staff and operations
  • Ability to set and maintain performance and budget goals

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen management team
  • Provide direction for all day-to-day operations
  • Provide guidance and direction to subordinates including setting performance standards and monitoring performance
  • Encourage and build mutual trust respect and cooperation among team members
  • Review staffing levels to ensure guest service operational needs and financial objectives are met
  • Develop and implement guidelines and control procedures for purchasing and receiving areas
  • Monitor quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met
