Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related field
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
- Minimum 4 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage kitchen operations and staff effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 6 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with 4 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience managing kitchen staff and operations
- Ability to set and maintain performance and budget goals
Job Duties
- Lead kitchen management team
- Provide direction for all day-to-day operations
- Provide guidance and direction to subordinates including setting performance standards and monitoring performance
- Encourage and build mutual trust respect and cooperation among team members
- Review staffing levels to ensure guest service operational needs and financial objectives are met
- Develop and implement guidelines and control procedures for purchasing and receiving areas
- Monitor quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met
