Job Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a kitchen managerial position
- Culinary Arts degree or related degree
- Experience in volume food production within a commercial kitchen
- Experience and discipline in creating fine food for a multitude of palettes
- Experience managing and leading staff
- Previous experience in working with older adults

Job Duties
- Prepare food daily as outlined in weekly menu plans
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and service
- Train and direct kitchen staff with patience and clear communication
- Monitor food safety procedures including receiving, storage, preparation, and reheating
- Ensure success of marketing and catering events following protocol
- Maintain portion control to meet budget while fulfilling nutritional needs
- Manage quality food preparation, plating, and delivery
- Report on-the-job injuries promptly
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and team information
- Communicate effectively with corporate dining services
- Adhere to state and county regulatory compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
