Job Requirements

  • Five or more years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Ability to recruit, hire, train, and manage kitchen staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of profit and loss management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, stand for long periods, and lift objects with some assistance
  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • ServSafe instructor certification or willingness to obtain preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Five or more years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • Extensive experience in banquet-style events
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to obtain certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute events including food preparation, service, and cleanup
  • Assist with cooking when needed
  • Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • Work with management to recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Develop key staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
  • Report critical issues to General Manager
