Job Requirements

  • Must pass background check and clearance
  • Culinary background or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in senior living preferred
  • Management experience of a larger team and kitchen
  • Proficient in personal financial management and budgeting
  • Open availability
  • Ability to work effectively under company policies and standards

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and direct overall culinary operations
  • Hire, evaluate, schedule, motivate, and supervise culinary department staff
  • Ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Make recommendations on staff evaluations, merit pay increases, reprimands, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Manage budgeting and personal financial operations for the culinary department
  • Collaborate with Executive Director to align culinary services with community goals
