Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience
  • Proven experience in inventory and purchasing control
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage and lead a culinary team
  • Knowledge of sustainable food practices
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant environments
  • Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, production, catering, and cost control
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and food safety regulations
  • Develop innovative menus with a focus on local and sustainable ingredients
  • Oversee cost control measures including food costs and purchasing
  • Lead culinary team, providing training and development
  • Maintain high-quality food production, sanitation, and presentation standards
  • Monitor and manage P&L accountability for the food service operation
