Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 7+ years experience in management and executive kitchen positions
  • demonstrated knowledge of current restaurant industry trends
  • culinary creativity and flexibility
  • strong knowledge of food sanitation regulations
  • ability to provide direction and supervision to kitchen staff
  • strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • empathy and affinity for working with seniors
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • authorization to work in the U.S.
  • successful completion of Level I and Level II background checks
  • drug screening required

Job Duties

  • Oversee day to day culinary operations
  • supervise production of daily specials
  • delegate tasks to kitchen staff
  • spot check product quality
  • assist on the line during peak service times
  • motivate, train, develop and direct back of house employees
  • assist with menu development and implementation
