Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in kitchen management and menu creation
- Dedication to serve others, internally and guests
- Hands-on, passion for cooking and not a clipboard chef
- Work with local farmers to purchase fresh product and serve quality dishes
- Strong sense of finances, labor, quality control, and 'getting the job done'
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in kitchen management and menu creation
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Hands-on approach to cooking and kitchen oversight
- Understanding of financial management including budgeting and labor cost control
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Commitment to sourcing fresh local ingredients
- Passion for creating memorable dining experiences
Job Duties
- Work the line and lead kitchen staff
- Encourage staff development and promote a positive work environment
- Oversee all kitchen operations including problem resolution and communication
- Collaborate with General Manager and leadership team for operational efficiency
- Maintain quality control, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety standards
- Manage labor, budgets, and financial forecasting
- Embrace and promote internal hospitality to enhance guest and staff experiences
