Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years leading culinary operations as an executive chef
  • Experience in managing high-volume kitchen environments
  • Proven ability to develop and design innovative menus
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment

Job Qualifications

  • Progressive culinary experience in a fast-paced multi-faceted operation
  • Minimum of 3 years experience leading culinary operations as an executive chef
  • Previous leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Demonstrated ability to develop menu items for a diverse audience
  • Ability to assess food trends and their value in enhancing guest experience

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of the culinary department including menu concepting and design
  • Ensure the quality preparation of all menu items and proper handling and storage of food items
  • Interview, hire, train, and evaluate culinary associates fostering open communication
  • Establish daily priorities and assign production and preparation tasks
  • Ensure kitchen areas are stocked with necessary tools, supplies, and equipment
  • Review banquet event orders and requisition supplies maintaining quality standards
  • Conduct frequent walk-throughs of kitchen areas coaching associates to correct deficiencies
  • Assist the Catering department in developing special menus and meet with clients as requested
  • Oversee training of new hires and maintain ongoing training programs for staff
