Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • minimum 10 years progressive food and beverage operations management experience
  • current state health and sanitation certification
  • ability to supervise, hire, train and motivate staff
  • knowledge of basic nutrition and healthy cooking techniques
  • experience with Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • effective communication and team-building skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • valid driver's license where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in quality food and beverage operations management
  • experience in a high-end restaurant, club, hotel, or senior living company
  • solid knowledge of budgets, reporting, training, and staff management
  • experience overseeing multiple food and beverage venues preferred
  • proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • culinary arts degree preferred
  • current state health and sanitation certification required
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) designation is a plus
  • ability to become CDM and Certified Executive Chef (CEC) preferred
  • valid and current driver's license where applicable
  • current CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain

Job Duties

  • Direct all aspects of daily kitchen food production
  • support special functions and outside catering events
  • ensure high-quality food product and presentation
  • maintain a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests
  • manage multiple food and beverage venues
  • supervise, hire, train, and motivate kitchen staff
  • ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards
