Job Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of principles and practices within food and beverage profession
  • experiential knowledge required for management of people or complex problems and food and beverage management
  • ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures
  • highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • effective in handling workplace problems including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems
  • ability to work well in stressful situations
  • valid Driver's License preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily culinary operations across all food outlets including signature restaurants, bars, poolside venues, and event spaces
  • accurately forecast expenses
  • analyze financial and operational information to adjust business plans, labor requirements, and operating costs
  • identify major revenue and expense opportunities and possible problems
  • assist team leaders in meeting and exceeding AOS goals
  • manage human resources functions for kitchen team members including recruiting, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, pay and reward programs
  • plan and manage procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of all food in a safe, sanitary, and cost-effective manner
  • monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of kitchen equipment and areas to ensure a safe environment
  • execute and promote the Accident Prevention Program to minimize liabilities and expenses
