Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum five years of executive chef experience in similar settings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience leading large culinary teams
  • Proven track record of cost management and menu innovation
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Five plus years of experience as an executive chef in a high-volume, full-service hotel or upscale restaurant
  • Proven expertise in menu development, banquet and event culinary management, and cost control
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and grow a high-performing team
  • Passion for food innovation, presentation, and delivering memorable dining experiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and embrace change as opportunity
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in a professional kitchen

Job Duties

  • Elevate banquet and catering experiences in over 25,000 sq. ft. of newly refreshed meeting and event space
  • Build, mentor, and energize a talented culinary team to deliver creativity, consistency, and excellence at every turn
  • Collaborate across departments to create unforgettable guest experiences that reflect the energy and innovation of the Sheraton brand and Wurzak Hotel Group
  • Develop innovative and seasonally inspired menus that align with brand standards
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency
  • Manage food costs and budgeting effectively while maintaining culinary standards
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the kitchen
