Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with culinary certification
- English fluency required
- Spanish fluency helpful
- minimum of five years' Executive Chef experience in a comparable quality establishment
- knowledge of OSHA, SB198, local health codes and laws
- demonstrated ability to train staff and ensure luxury resort customer service
- strong communication skills

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary certification
- minimum of five years' experience as an Executive Chef in a comparable establishment
- demonstrated knowledge of culinary operations and quality food preparation
- familiarity with OSHA, SB198, local Department of Health regulations, and related laws
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent written and verbal communication
- detail oriented and organized
- customer service focused with ability to maintain high morale and productivity
- safety-minded with high quality standards for production and service
- prior hotel experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide visionary leadership in the recruitment, development, scheduling, and performance management of all culinary leaders and team members
- deliver exceptional, memorable culinary experiences by anticipating and responding to guest needs and feedback
- conceptualize and curate diverse, upscale, and property-appropriate menus for multiple outlets
- ensure all food storage, preparation, and service comply with food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards
- partner with Food & Beverage leadership to ensure coordinated and seamless food and service delivery
- establish efficient food requisition, prep, and distribution systems across outlets and events
- design and oversee cost-effective employee meal programs that support wellness and productivity
- lead consistency in food presentation and quality reflecting luxury standards
- optimize food costs and control waste through strategic purchasing and inventory management
- oversee kitchen equipment planning and maintenance
- lead menu development aligning creativity with profitability targets
- uphold sanitation and cleanliness standards through inspections and compliance planning
- collaborate with executive leadership on culinary budget management
- monitor and adjust labor and food costs to meet budget targets
- contribute to property events and VIP experiences as a senior leader
- ensure compliance in payroll, HR, and performance documentation for culinary staff
- champion resort-wide policies and service philosophies fostering high-integrity, high-performance culture
- identify and mitigate safety risks enforcing safety protocols
- maintain an organized and inspection-ready kitchen environment
- implement and improve safe work practices including equipment use and emergency protocols
- attend leadership meetings and training sessions to support operational alignment
- perform other duties and cross-functional leadership tasks supporting property growth and reputation
