Job Requirements

  • Must have an associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Extensive catering experience a plus
  • Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Hands-on chef experience
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Email, and Internet
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary production including food preparation, quality, and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Develop and oversee menu planning including seasonal and special ingredient dishes
  • Manage food cost, labor, and department budget to meet financial goals
  • Supervise and coach kitchen staff to improve performance and engagement
  • Maintain product consistency through inspections and quality control
  • Respond to and handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
