Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in a culinary setting
  • valid ServSafe Certification
  • experience in healthcare or senior living foodservice preferred
  • ability to work full-time
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to comply with food safety standards and HACCP protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Years of experience as a talented chef in a customer-oriented, high-volume dining venue
  • ability to manage multiple priorities while producing quality products
  • natural leadership ability with 4 or more years in a supervisory role
  • possession and maintenance of ServSafe Certification
  • strong culinary creativity and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Design delectable menu items that are pleasing to the palate
  • create specialty items that differentiate dining venues and community events
  • inspire, train and coach the culinary team promoting a positive approach
  • oversee food preparation including storage and handling to ensure freshness and safety protocols
  • maintain adherence to HACCP standards
  • manage kitchen operations to support high-volume dining
  • collaborate with dining and event staff to deliver exceptional food service
