Job Duties

  • Interview and hire kitchen personnel
  • evaluate and coach kitchen team members
  • develop culinary training programs
  • ensure safety training completion
  • train staff on safe equipment operation and food production
  • assist General Manager with sales forecasting
  • coordinate production and dish room staff
  • maintain positive client relationships
  • manage employees per labor laws
  • maintain clean and safe work environment
  • enforce company policies
  • deliver exceptional guest service
  • supervise inventory for food and beverage
  • prepare standard and gourmet menu items
  • monitor cooking and holding temperatures
  • manage equipment maintenance and safety training
  • ensure food quality and consistency
  • plan menus based on trends and nutrition
  • inspect food preparation and sanitation
  • place food product orders and manage vendor relations
  • evaluate raw and finished food quality
  • enforce sanitary and food safety regulations
  • process vendor invoices
