Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of culinary schooling
  • Prior experience as an executive chef with culinary leadership
  • Ability to obtain government required licenses or certificates
  • Physical capability to perform the role's physical demands including standing and lifting heavy items
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Commitment to upholding food safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an executive chef with knowledge of most international and domestic dishes
  • Combination of education, training, and experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Minimum of three years of culinary schooling
  • Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates
  • CPR/First Aid training preferred
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Champion the culinary vision by designing innovative, seasonal menus blending creativity, regional flavors, and guest feedback into memorable dining experiences
  • Lead from the line with a hands-on approach inspiring, training, and mentoring a high-performing culinary team while upholding quality, safety, and productivity standards
  • Be the face of the kitchen by interacting with guests during service, building connections and ensuring every dish reflects culinary passion
  • Drive excellence in execution through active oversight of production flow, staff performance, and real-time coaching to maintain consistency and elevate presentation
  • Curate specialty menus for VIP events, banquets, tastings, and culinary activations that showcase creativity and enhance the hotel’s brand
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols, manage inventory precisely, and collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership to support strategic and budgetary goals
  • Maintain physical stamina to operate in an indoor kitchen environment involving frequent standing, walking, and handling heavy goods up to 400 lbs
