Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a leadership culinary role
- Demonstrated success in managing food service staff
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of state and federal health regulations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong commitment to quality and resident satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience as an executive chef or similar role in senior living or hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of culinary arts, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgets and inventory effectively
- Excellent team management and communication skills
- Familiarity with dietary needs of senior residents
- Experience in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferred
Job Duties
- Innovate, plan, promote, and supervise a food service program that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards as well as specialized diets for residents with specific needs
- Recruit, hire, train, discipline and supervise a full complement of staff
- Establish, document, direct and assist in kitchen and dining room sanitation procedures
- Prepare schedules for all shifts for kitchen and dining room staff and post in work areas
- Comply with all state, local and federal health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Ensure appropriate staffing and inventory management within budget guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
