Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years experience as a chef in a large-scale cooking operation preferred
  • Prior dietary experience in LTC, SNF, AL, or MC setting required
  • Minimum of three years experience in a kitchen managerial position highly preferred
  • Professional image in appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Passion for working with seniors

  • Ensure all food items are prepared to culinary standards
  • Provide residents with exceptional dining experiences
  • Maintain portion control and minimize waste
  • Improve resident, employee, and client satisfaction
  • Manage budget and control food and labor costs
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Lead and oversee the culinary team in day-to-day operations
