Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • experience in banquet style events
  • ability to manage budgets and food costs
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • capability to recruit and develop kitchen staff
  • physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods, and lift with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
  • extensive experience in banquet style events
  • experience managing and developing teams
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit & loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation and service
  • assist with cooking when needed
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases appropriately
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • develop sous chefs and lead cooks
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • implement and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with health regulations
  • report critical issues to General Manager
