Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- ability to lead and manage kitchen operations
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- capability to manage budgets and control expenses
- experience in staff training and performance management
- commitment to providing excellent guest service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 6 years of culinary or food and beverage experience
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 4 years of experience

Job Duties
- Lead kitchen management team
- provide direction for all daily operations
- supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and food preparation workers
- develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
- establish performance, budget, and team goals
- communicate and enforce safety procedures
- manage controllable expenses including food cost and supplies
- participate in budgeting for department
- ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- oversee menu development and presentation
- monitor food quality and safety
- prepare and cook foods for guests and special functions
- provide excellent customer service and resolve guest complaints
- lead training and development of kitchen staff
- administer performance appraisals and employee discipline
