Job Requirements
- 5+ years of high volume culinary/hospitality experience
- 3+ years of high volume kitchen leadership experience
- current food handler's card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law
- strong knowledge of food/restaurant service skills including storage and rotation, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation, and service and production time standards
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with computer systems including Windows, Microsoft Office, POS system, and Outlook email
- bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality, or similar preferred
- willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business

Job Duties
- Create a relaxed destination - promote a learning and training environment for all kitchen members through hands-on approach focusing on proper cooking techniques, knife skills, time management to ensure culinary, sales, and service success
- Set the course - responsible for kitchen operations and to ensure the kitchen team delivers exceptional culinary experience to our guests
- Build the perfect oasis - manage individual restaurant expenses ensuring budgetary compliance
- effectively communicate and justify monthly financial information including but not limited to food cost, labor expense, and supply purchases
- Support your crew - maintain appropriate staff levels based on projected sales and business needs
- Proactive in paradise - seek out marketing opportunities within the community and partner with retail to leverage the retail/restaurant relationship during marketing and sales events
