Job Requirements

- minimum 6 years culinary or food and beverage experience
- 2-year degree from accredited university preferred
- strong leadership skills
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to manage multiple kitchen areas

Job Duties
- Leads kitchen management team
- provides direction for daily kitchen operations
- supervises and coordinates food preparation staff
- develops and implements purchasing and receiving guidelines
- establishes culinary and budgetary goals
- ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- manages employee training and development
- addresses guest feedback and service issues
- administers performance appraisals and disciplinary processes
- collaborates with banquet and catering departments on food knowledge
- monitors food quality and presentation
- manages department controllable expenses
