Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of kitchen management or Executive Chef experience
  • Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
  • Extensive experience in banquet-style events
  • Experience managing and developing teams required
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company's mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit & loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
  • Assist with cooking as needed
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • Efficiently schedule staff to accommodate business volume shifts
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
  • Develop key staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
  • Implement cleaning schedules in compliance with local Department of Health regulations
  • Report critical sanitation issues to the General Manager
