Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of kitchen management experience
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Current ServSafe certification
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of kitchen management or Executive Chef experience
- Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
- Extensive experience in banquet-style events
- Experience managing and developing teams required
- Current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company's mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit & loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
- Assist with cooking as needed
- Estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
- Efficiently schedule staff to accommodate business volume shifts
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
- Develop key staff
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
- Implement cleaning schedules in compliance with local Department of Health regulations
- Report critical sanitation issues to the General Manager
