- knowledge of nutritional guidelines and food safety regulations
Job Duties
- Develop and implement standardized recipes and menus aligned with nutritional guidelines and customer preferences
- train and mentor culinary staff in food preparation, sanitation, and service excellence
- manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control to maintain budgets and minimize waste
- ensure compliance with HACCP, Joint Commission, and state/local health regulations through audits and documentation
- oversee culinary operations for patient services, café, physician lounge, and catering ensuring food quality and safety
- implement corrective actions as needed to maintain standards
- perform other duties as assigned
