Job Requirements
- Completion of professional certification, diploma, or degree in culinary arts/science
- Completion of CFPM certification
- Proven experience as head chef
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local food handling regulations
- Ability to develop unique recipes for health and religious dietary restrictions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
- Willingness to perform administrative and operational kitchen duties
- Adherence to health and safety standards
- COVID-19 vaccination required subject to accommodations for medical or religious beliefs
Job Qualifications

- Exceptional leadership skills including motivation and goal-setting

Job Duties
- Develop unique and cuisine appropriate menus
- Collaborate with administration to set item prices
- Work with dietician to create meals based on therapeutic diets
- Stay current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
- Maintain kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet company standards and health code regulations
- Ensure quality of food items and service, including presentation
- Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
- Monitor inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
- Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff
- Assist and direct kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating, and delivery
- Prepare meals and complete prep support as needed
- Arrange equipment purchases and repairs
- Rectify arising problems and complaints
- Perform administrative duties
- Keep time and payroll records
- Step into various roles as needed
