Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 4 years of culinary experience
  • at least 2 years of management experience preferred
  • ability to multi-task
  • advanced knowledge of culinary principles and practices
  • strong communication skills
  • experience managing people or problems

  • minimum 2 years in a management role preferred
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience required

  • ability to simplify complex agendas for team understanding

Job Duties

  • Ensure culinary production aligns with the Executional Framework
  • maintain proper culinary standards and techniques for food preparation, production, presentation, and service
  • manage and lead a culinary team including chef managers and hourly staff to ensure food quality and consistency
  • train and coach culinary and kitchen employees on best practice food production techniques
  • recognize and reward employees to foster engagement and motivation
  • plan and execute team meetings and daily operational huddles
  • maintain staff records including training, checklists, and performance data
  • develop and sustain effective client and guest relationships
  • interact directly with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • aggregate and communicate regional culinary trends
  • deliver food and labor targets consistently
  • focus on margin improvement by analyzing performance metrics, data, and inventory trends
  • ensure efficient execution and delivery of all menu items
  • maintain food quality and safety standards
  • manage waste and standardize menus, recipes, and ingredients
  • oversee supply chain and procurement to use authorized suppliers only
  • ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
  • comply with food safety, quality assurance, occupational, environmental safety policies, and all applicable regulations
