Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree of 2 to 4 years
- minimum five years of progressive hotel culinary experience
- previous supervisory responsibility
- knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- understanding of health and liquor laws and regulations
Job Duties
- Coordinate, supervise and direct all aspects of food production
- maintain profitable food and beverage operations
- provide training for all kitchen staff
- enforce food specifications, portion control, and recipes
- adhere to sanitation and health department regulations
- control food and labor costs
- maximize guest satisfaction
- participate in manager on duty coverage as required
