Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age at the time of employment
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Executive Chef in high volume concept
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high volume culinary environments
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain quality under pressure
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Familiarity with menu costing, inventory management, and financial reporting
  • Ability to adapt menus to seasonal ingredients and dietary preferences
  • Excellent communication and collaborative abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Executive Chef in high volume concept ($6 million+)
  • Experience in fast-paced, high volume culinary environments such as upscale restaurants, hotels, or catering operations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining food quality and service consistency
  • Experience creating and executing large private event custom menus for 500-1,500 person events
  • Ability to design tasting menus, special event menus, and catering offerings
  • Strong culinary creativity and passion for innovation
  • Demonstrated financial acumen including budgeting and KPI analysis
  • Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

Job Duties

  • Lead and motivate culinary teams to achieve excellence in food quality, presentation, and service standards
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
  • Set team goals aligned with the company’s vision
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front of house, event and sales teams, vendors, and senior management
  • Develop and execute innovative menus tailored to seasonal ingredients, dietary preferences, and culinary trends
  • Manage menu costing, inventory, and cost control measures to optimize profitability
  • Schedule labor to ensure adequate staffing while maintaining labor cost objectives
