Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age at the time of employment
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Executive Chef in high volume concept
- Experience working in fast-paced, high volume culinary environments
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain quality under pressure
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Familiarity with menu costing, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Ability to adapt menus to seasonal ingredients and dietary preferences
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Executive Chef in high volume concept ($6 million+)
- Experience in fast-paced, high volume culinary environments such as upscale restaurants, hotels, or catering operations
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining food quality and service consistency
- Experience creating and executing large private event custom menus for 500-1,500 person events
- Ability to design tasting menus, special event menus, and catering offerings
- Strong culinary creativity and passion for innovation
- Demonstrated financial acumen including budgeting and KPI analysis
- Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Job Duties
- Lead and motivate culinary teams to achieve excellence in food quality, presentation, and service standards
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Set team goals aligned with the company’s vision
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front of house, event and sales teams, vendors, and senior management
- Develop and execute innovative menus tailored to seasonal ingredients, dietary preferences, and culinary trends
- Manage menu costing, inventory, and cost control measures to optimize profitability
- Schedule labor to ensure adequate staffing while maintaining labor cost objectives
