Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Current sanitation certification or must obtain within 6 months
- Safe Food Handling certification
- Minimum three years supervisory experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent
- Over seven years experience managing high-volume kitchens
- Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local sanitation and safety regulations
- Strong leadership and organizational skills

- Minimum three years supervisory experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent in a high-volume setting
- Over seven years managing high-volume commercial kitchens
- Experience in fine dining and culinary leadership preferred
Job Duties
- Supervises and oversees kitchen staff in food preparation and service following recipes and menu plans
- Assists in preparation and service of foods for other departments and special occasions
- Directs daily food production operations including menu planning, purchasing, ordering, and inventory management
- Oversees portioning, garnishing, presentation and safe storage of food
- Orders food and kitchen equipment
- Ensures kitchen, equipment, storage and dining areas are sanitary, neat and organized
- Trains chefs and dining staff, manages work activities, and conducts performance evaluations
- Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety regulations including HACCP and ServSafe
- Manages budget by controlling labor, inventory, equipment, and materials costs
- Establishes and implements quality and operating standards and communicates them to employees
