Job Requirements
- College or culinary school degree required
- Five or more years in food and beverage or senior living hospitality required
- Two or more years management experience required
- Scratch cooking experience required
- Ability to read, write and understand English to manage staff and communicate
- Physical capacity for manual dexterity and lifting up to 50 pounds required
- Ability to stand and perform physical activity without extended breaks
- Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- College or Culinary School degree
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to culinary school graduation
- Five or more years in food and beverage, country club, fine dining, restaurant or senior living hospitality
- Two or more years managing culinary or dining services
- Scratch cooking experience
- Preferred saute and broiler experience
- Certified Executive Chef highly preferred
- ServeSafe certification preferred
- Effective communication skills in English
- Physical ability to operate kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform physical kitchen tasks continuously
Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate culinary activities across all dining venues
- Direct menu planning and culinary training for kitchen staff
- Manage special events and private functions food service
- Ensure compliance with Community standards, processes, and philosophies
- Maintain high satisfaction levels for Residents and guests through quality food and service
- Lead and inspire culinary team for optimal performance
- Oversee kitchen operations to meet health and safety regulations
