Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years related culinary experience and/or training
  • two or more years of management experience leading back-of-house operations in a high-volume, full-service kitchen
  • ability to maintain high standards of food quality and service
  • ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years related culinary experience and/or training
  • two or more years of management experience leading back-of-house operations in a high-volume, full-service kitchen
  • preferred sushi experience
  • ability to maintain high standards of food quality and service
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure a culture of positivity and accountability
  • execute operational excellence in food quality, service, and guest experience
  • drive, lead, and oversee all kitchen and sushi operations to positively impact profit and loss
  • oversee critical quality control points for every menu item, as well as portioning and plating, to ensure dishes received by guests are to spec
  • hire, train, and develop employees
  • regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
