Job Requirements

  • Requires post-secondary culinary arts school or four-year university
  • requires a minimum of 5 years managerial or supervision experience in culinary food service
  • must be certified in Serve Safe Management certification course
  • ability to speak read and comprehend instructions short correspondence and policy documents
  • ability to converse comfortably with individuals
  • demonstrates team management delegation issue resolution coaching and motivation skills
  • demonstrates organization and multi-project time issue management
  • ability to act as a change agent

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervises the day to day activities of culinary supervisory staff
  • works with restaurant partners on menus and menu items ensuring timely and proper preparation
  • ensures integrity of all food aspects including taste temperature presentation and speed of production
  • promotes safety and sanitation adhering to HACCP procedures
  • oversees commissary operations and vendors
  • prices and orders food and kitchen supplies
  • maintains effective cost control through inventory management systems
  • complies with company and franchise standards and regulatory requirements
  • ensures food products are prepared and presented according to brand standards on a daily basis
  • manages hiring firing advancement development and promotion of culinary management staff
  • fosters effective communication and positive associate relations including performance reviews discipline and incentive programs
  • provides highest quality customer service ensuring proper training and support of staff
