Job Requirements

  • Maintain ServSafe Food Manager certification
  • able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • 1-3 years of kitchen leadership experience
  • experience as sous chef or senior sous chef preferred
  • strong culinary skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • client-facing experience
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willing to learn business needs and practices
  • proficient with Google applications and Microsoft Office

  • enjoys exercising creativity in menu development
  • understands diverse cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment

  • is experienced with Google applications (Gmail, Google Drive), Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Design, prepare and coordinate unique weekly menus for all dietary needs and restrictions
  • spearhead execution of new product lines and culinary practices
  • participate in critical discussions regarding eater satisfaction and business growth with the client
  • act as liaison between business team and culinary team regarding client details and feedback
  • hire kitchen staff
  • manage, coach and train the kitchen staff
  • own supply ordering and inventory
  • oversee COGS
  • monitor and manage portion control and food costs
  • execute strict quality control and assurance
  • ensure kitchen operations meet company and facility standards
  • comply with and enforce sanitary regulations and safety standards
