Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 years experience in culinary or food and beverage field
  • OR Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years experience in culinary or related professional area
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work full time
  • Bonus eligibility

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years experience in culinary or food and beverage area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage area
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to develop and train staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Budget management experience

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen management team
  • Provide direction for all day-to-day operations
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and food preparation workers
  • Develop and implement guidelines and control procedures for purchasing and receiving
  • Manage department expenses including food cost and supplies
  • Provide direction for menu development
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
