Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three years experience in food services management required
- Culinary certification required within 90 days of employment
- Serve Safe certification required within 60 days of hire
- Ability to assume responsibility and exercise authority
- Knowledge of food and nutrition services, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Directly responsible for the food preparation for patients, cafeteria, and doctors' dining room
- Develops and implements work standards, sanitation procedures, and personal hygiene requirements
- Inspects food preparation and serving areas, equipment, and storage facilities to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Participates in menu planning with the Director and Clinical Nutrition Manager
- Supervises and prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals including special functions
- Manages Hot Production Staff including hiring, training, counseling, and evaluating
- Coordinates staff scheduling and assignments for timely and economical food preparation
