Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years of experience as a chef in a large-scale cooking operation preferred
  • prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
  • minimum three years of experience in a kitchen managerial position highly preferred
  • professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • passion for working with seniors
  • flexible, fun, and energetic personality

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food items are prepared to culinary standards
  • provide residents with an exceptional dining experience
  • maintain portion control and minimize waste
  • improve resident, employee, and client satisfaction
  • ensure delivery of company objectives such as budget, food and labor costs, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • lead the culinary team in day-to-day operation
