Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess or successfully pass a Food Service Sanitation Certification course
- 3-5 years proven chef experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or senior living facility
- Prior experience in a kitchen managerial position
- Advanced culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and food safety regulations
- Ability to design innovative dishes and menus
- Must have excellent communication, both verbal and written and interpersonal skills to handle interactions effectively
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, and respond to upper management direction

- Oversee daily kitchen operations

- Design and develop menus that meet nutritional and taste standards
- Maintain high standards of food quality and safety
- Manage kitchen budget and control costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Engage with residents to gather feedback and improve dining services
