Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Five or more years culinary experience in the hospitality industry
- Food handlers permit as required by state law or company standards
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Valid driver's license
- Must meet company motor vehicle policy standards
- Ability to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers or employees
- May require driving responsibilities using company or personal vehicle

Job Duties
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and performance managing assigned staff
- Maintain monthly and annual budgets for the Culinary Services department
- Maintain appropriate inventory of kitchen supplies, small wares, and table ware
- Ensure purchasing standards are maintained and appropriate vendors are used
- Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served according to company standards and legal requirements
- Meet regularly with residents and family members to confirm satisfaction levels
- Work with staff to ensure high levels of customer service
- Confirm front of house and back of house staff work closely to deliver excellent food products
- Work with community leadership and staff to obtain and maintain customer satisfaction and department of health survey levels
- Maintain documentation and submission of reports and invoices
- Maintain employee satisfaction and engagement scores
- Delegate tasks to maintain cleanliness and quality
- Conduct and participate in department meetings and in-services
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Assist in planning and execution of events
- Work closely with community sales team to market the community
- Ensure staff understand company expectations and first impressions
- Act as manager on duty when required
- May perform other duties as assigned
