Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification
  • Food Safety and Hygiene certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in high-volume kitchen, with at least 2 years in leadership role
  • Ability to prepare and analyze reports
  • Proven track record of menu development and cost management
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and culinary techniques
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Preferred leadership skills
  • Preferred ability to manage costs and maintain compliance
  • Preferred ability to inspire a collaborative team environment

Job Duties

  • Menu planning and development to create and update menus reflecting seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and culinary trends
  • Oversee food preparation and quality control ensuring consistency and excellence in taste and appearance
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment through effective scheduling
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies in all kitchen operations
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports including food and labor cost, sales metrics, and inventory data to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with Food and Beverage Manager and stakeholders to streamline culinary processes and deliver seamless dining experiences
