Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in kitchen leadership or similar role
  • AOS Culinary School graduate or related training is a plus
  • Functional working knowledge of Health Department, OSHA, and related regulations
  • Ability to multitask and manage in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated decision making and troubleshooting skills
  • Financial and analytical skills to meet budgets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer and technological skills
  • Must have ServSafe food handler's certificate
  • Ability to perform physical work including standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen production areas and manage multiple shifts
  • Monitor production procedures for quality, consistency, and efficiency
  • Supervise kitchen management to ensure standard operating procedures compliance
  • Train kitchen staff on food storage, preparation, and presentation
  • Implement and manage culinary projects and initiatives
  • Develop methodologies to improve kitchen operations
  • Ensure sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards compliance
  • Collaborate with company divisions to achieve business goals
  • Manage culinary inventory, waste control, and vendor relations
  • Maintain financial control over food and labor costs
  • Oversee event menu creation and culinary marketing efforts
  • Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Maintain accurate administrative records and scheduling
