Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years culinary leadership experience preferably in fine dining
  • Ability to work full-time with flexible shifts
  • Pass a full physical and background check as per regulatory requirements
  • Ability to manage budgets including food cost and labor
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • College courses or other education in food service and/or management preferred
  • Completion of an ADA approved course in quantity food purchasing, production, service and nutrition preferred
  • Experience as a supervisor or head cook preferred
  • 5+ years experience in culinary and hospitality leadership in a high-volume full-service restaurant
  • Strong culinary technique and respect for hospitality and craftsmanship
  • Proven ability to manage financial performance including labor and food costs
  • Expertise in computer systems including Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication
  • Ability to pass full physical and background checks

Job Duties

  • Responsible for preparing all food items per recipes
  • Preparing a variety of meats, seafood, poultry and other food items
  • Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • Stock and maintain line stations to assure a smooth service
  • Plan and coordinate food and supplies required for daily menus
  • Follow all safety procedures when handling kitchen equipment and comply with sanitation standards
  • Conduct detailed line checks and oversee seamless food preparation and expediting
