Job Requirements
- Long hours sometimes required
- Medium work involving exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly

Job Qualifications
- A 2-year, 3-year, or 4-year culinary degree
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel culinary environment
- Previous supervisory experience
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- Familiarity with health department rules and regulations
- Understanding of liquor laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards in food quality and service
Job Duties
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the hotel’s food production
- Maintain profitable food and beverage operations
- Provide training for all kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with corporate quality standards
- Establish and enforce food specifications, portion control, recipes, and sanitation
- Control food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction
- Attend hotel-required meetings and participate in management coverage
- Maintain regular attendance and comply with management standards
- Handle and solve problems effectively including anticipating and preventing issues
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Perform other duties as requested by management
