Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of related culinary experience and/or training
  • At least two years of management experience leading back of house operations in a high-volume, full-service kitchen
  • Ability to regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
  • Physical ability to maneuver in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Ability to distinguish different tastes
  • Willingness to work in a noisy, distracting environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of related culinary experience and/or training
  • At least two years of management experience leading back of house operations in a high-volume, full-service kitchen
  • Sushi experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Ensuring a culture of positivity and accountability
  • Executing operational excellence in food quality, service, and guest experience
  • Driving, leading, and overseeing all kitchen and sushi operations to positively impact P&L
  • Overseeing critical quality control points for menu items, portioning, and plating to ensure dishes meet specifications
  • Hiring, training, and developing employees
  • Exercising independent judgment and discretion regularly
  • Handling sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
